Passion of the poetic kind

Fanatically faithfully religiously I write
that is better than being a terrorist with dynamite…
So I will to my own delight,
scribble poetic prose that is sure to ignite
other poets/believers to come and decorate the night,
Strangle a storm without form that is out-of-sight
Hug a hurricane with no name and then take flight..
Whatever the reason no treason when I incite
I simply invite others to come and join this black knight
I’m poetically yours… Mr Tony who writes to ignite

 

If you by-passed the video…then you missed a treat… some poetry is suited to be read… this poem is not…it is for reciting… The flow is not classic…The energy is not library reading…lol… plus I am hoping this works, because the audio has been a hit and miss. Thank you for stopping by…

    • You are dynamite my Queen of Awareness! You surely supply me with motivation! and I see I need to update my poem from knight to King! lol… And the bedazzle still makes me smile! I watch the video several times since posting it! It really was fun!

  6. I really enjoyed this. Your words, gestures and the passion in your voice took me to videos I’ve enjoyed of Amanda Gorman as she recited her poems. The words, gestures and facial expressions deepen the experience of the poem. Thank you for offering this. Just lovely…and real.

      • Awww… that made my day! ❤️ You just have a fire inside you that radiates so brightly, and in your video I was made even more aware of that radiating glow.
