Today…I declare and can say
I have a sense of belonging
I’m apart of the household of faith
Today, I woke with God’s mercy and grace
I no longer feel out of place
my demeanor creates a harmonic space
sit with me
in this peaceful state
On the goodness of God I meditate…
This allows me to frustrate
those who walk in hate
It’s not about them
nor what they say
I declare,
At least not TODAY…
