Love like hate
is a dominating force,
Fear like faith
is a visible course…
The shocking
The surprising
can steal your voice,
The loving
The faithful
is a cause to rejoice…
Faith expressing
itself through love
is a great choice…
Choose ye this day
to walk in love
I have reposted this, because it is still relevant and we need to understand there are competing forces in this World. You do not have to believe in God to know that hate is just as powerful as love. Hate with a passion and Love with a passion. Faith opposes fear, because a fearful person can not demonstrate their love.
Very good post, clear, commanding message. Excellent. Thank you.

Indeed it is very relevant and glad you shared! Faith and fear are such powerful forces – love is the reminder and the bridge to be on the right end. I find this such a real internal experience – appreciate your post. I remember the day it dawned on me that faith is the opposite of fear, a poem had emerged out of that inspiration 🙂

Absolutely love what you’ve expressed here! Fear can so quickly lead us to lose sight of our love and what we love. In that fearful state it can be hard to even believe love is possible.
It reminds me of this simple but powerful call for radical love from Jesus.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect”
