I am strong…because I was weak
Too prideful to speak…
I am fearless…because I’ve been afraid
Locked behind barricades
I am wise…because I’ve been foolish
So smart I was clueless
Through the evolution of aging with experiences
one can only hope
To become more than what they were
Behave in such a way that benefits our soul
